Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know
Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
